With the rise of social media and mobile technology, it’s harder for companies to control the brand image in the public’s eye. This research from TNS and LinkedIn shows that proper training and increasing the engagement of employees can increase talent brand ambassadorship. According to a global TNS study of 16,910 employees, less than half of those asked about their previous employment understood the behaviours required to deliver the brand promise. As a result, the most rampant challenge for branding is properly educating employees on what a brand is, and more importantly, what their company’s brand is.
During the webinar, TNS and LinkedIn will discuss employee engagement and brand ambassadorship, how it relates to talent recruiting and provide four steps to drive talent brand through employee brand ambassadors.
“Potential business partners, clients and customers are turning to social networks to learn about brands,” says Mike Schroeder, CEO of TNS Employee Insights. “A company’s brand reputation, whether employer or corporate, is a direct reflection of the culture and values of a company. The best way to increase awareness is through your employees.”
